Pediatric occupational therapy services for children in Orlando, Florida.

Our occupational therapy services are not a one-size fits all service. We use a combination of Individualized treatment sessions, parent consultations and home programs to promote your child's optimal performance and skill development.

With underlying problems addressed, children get to be better versions of themselves. Parents will learn key strategies to unlock abilities for the months and years ahead.

All of this occurs in the child's natural setting which could be your home, the community, or daycare/school. We can also provide telehealth services to now allow your location to limit your access to our services.

Individual Sessions

Providing the best services to your child, and the support to YOU the caregiver all in a comprehensive package.

Feeding Sessions

Guiding expansion of foods with a clear plan forward, in a safe a fun explorative manner all in a comprehensive package.

Group Sessions

Structured social engagements, providing fun and real-time feedback to make friends.

Telehealth

Providing comprehensive service without allowing location to impact quality service provision.

Your child deserves the best support- not just what insurance will cover based on their cookie-cuter deemed necessity.

At this time, Empower Kids Therapy does not accept insurance.  There are limitations in the frequency, and duration of services within the medical insurance model. The child is not looked at holistically but rather solely on how they scored on standardized tests. Although scores are important in some cases, it is not the only determining factor.

Although we do not directly bill insurance companies, we can provide you with an itemized receipt, or Superbill, each visit so you can submit it directly to your insurance company for potential out-of-network provider reimbursement. Certain Health Savings Accounts (HSA) may allow its use for our services. Please connect with them to determine if they considered our services an approved medical expense.

We are a proud provider for recipients of the Step Up for Students Family Empowerment Scholarship (formerly Gardiner Scholarship). Please visit the website www.stepupforstudents.org for more information.

D.A Parent, Feeding

Notebook

"We were provided with a safe space to talk (and cry) about our fears and concerns when it comes to our child's feeding issues, and how to navigate this complex journey we were on without ever making us feel like we were "doing it wrong", not doing enough, or have failed. with her help, these negative thoughts are not here so much anymore."
